As a proud participant in the Devizes and District League, the club fields five teams in divisions 1 and 2. Whether seasoned or new to the sport, Kenny Vale Table Tennis Club, guided by Touraj, caters to all skill levels in a supportive environment.
Junior players benefit from coaching and training sessions on Tuesdays from 5:45pm to 7:15pm. Led by experienced coaches, Brian and Richard, who bring over 30 years of combined experience, these sessions focus on developing skills and nurturing young talent. The club asks juniors to commit to regular attendance and an eagerness to improve.
Women new to the sport can join the beginners' session, which alternates weekly between social play and coaching from Richard. All skill levels are welcome, and availability can be checked by contacting Richard Ramsden.
For those wishing to practise beyond league play, regular training sessions take place on Sundays at 6 p.m. at Kennet Valley Hall. With six tables available, these sessions can accommodate up to 16 players.
The club also encourages members to explore the many table tennis opportunities throughout Wiltshire. With over 80 places to play, ranging from league clubs to outdoor spaces, there's plenty of chance to enjoy the sport locally.
