The Kimura Shukokai Karate Deep Cove club, part of Kimura Shukokai Karate Canada West, is a welcoming and inclusive martial arts school located in North Saanich. As a member of Kimura Shukokai International (KSI), Karate BC, and the World Karate Federation (WKF), students at Kimura Shukokai Karate Deep Cove have access to local, provincial, and international tournaments. The club is proud to host International Instructors annually, allowing students to learn from karate experts from around the world. Chief Instructor Sensei David Bentley, a 7th Dan Black Belt with 38 years of experience in the Shukokai style, leads the classes at the Deep Cove club. Sensei Bentley is a highly decorated martial artist, having competed at the international level for both England and Canada.
