KRB Swimming

KRB Swimming, located in Rose Bay, is an outstanding swimming school that offers a range of programmes catered to individuals of all ages and abilities. With a focus on water confidence, improving swimming skills, and enjoying healthy competition, KRB Aquatics is the perfect place for everyone to learn and grow in the water.

One of the highlights of KRB Aquatics is their Baby'n'Me programme, specifically designed for children aged 6 months to 3 years. In these classes, a parent or carer is required to accompany the baby/toddler in the water for the duration of the lesson. The emphasis of these classes is on building confidence, developing fundamental motor skills, and engaging and learning through fun and games. With guided instruction, informative lessons, and organised activities, children are able to splash about, watch other children, and learn from the experience.

The lessons are designed to work with the child's attention span and energy levels, lasting 30 minutes per lesson.

The Baby'n'Me programme at KRB Swimming consists of three levels: Tadpoles (6-12 months), Frogs (12-24 months), and Seahorses (2-3 years). Tadpoles become familiar with the water and start developing cognitive and sensory skills through songs and games. Frogs learn the fundamentals of paddling, kicking, and floating, along with basic water safety and confidence techniques. Parents in this level are also taught different techniques to develop submerging (breath control) readiness for their children.

The Seahorses level is the final level of the parent-assisted classes, where children continue to develop their swimming skills and water confidence.

Apart from the Baby'n'Me programme, KRB Aquatics also offers Learn to Swim squads for individuals of all ages and abilities. These squads aim to improve swimming technique and endurance, with a focus on preparing swimmers for healthy competition. Whether someone is a beginner or an advanced swimmer, KRB Aquatics has a squad suitable for their skill level.

Additionally, KRB Swimming provides a Holiday Intensive Programme, allowing swimmers to continue their progress even during school breaks. With sessions available during specific dates and times, swimmers can choose to participate in this programme and further improve their swimming skills.
