Lancelin Surf School is located in the picturesque coastal town of Lancelin, just a short 2-hour drive north of Perth. Known for its stunning white sand and protected bay, Lancelin is the perfect place to learn how to surf. The small waves produced in the bay are ideal for beginners and provide a safe and supportive environment to learn and improve your skills.

The surf school offers a range of lessons for all ages and experience levels. Their group lessons are perfect for families or those who prefer to learn in a small group setting. During the two-hour lesson, a skilled surf instructor will guide you through safety tips, surf etiquette, and cover all the basics. Afterward, you'll have the opportunity to put your newfound knowledge into practise with your instructor by your side.

Surfboard rental is available for an additional fee if you want to practise what you've learned after the lesson.

For those who want to become surf heroes in just three days, Lancelin Surf School offers a comprehensive 3-day course. This intensive programme covers all the necessary skills, safety tips, and advanced techniques to get you up and surfing quickly. By the end of the course, you'll have the confidence and experience to start riding those killer waves.

If you're looking for a fun day out with friends or family, the school also offers private group lessons. These super fun lessons are led by experienced surf instructors who will equip you with the skills and confidence you need to start surfing. Private lessons are also available for those who want to take their surfing to the next level. Whether you're a beginner looking to progress quickly or an experienced surfer looking to refine your technique, the experienced instructors at Lancelin Surf School will tailor the lesson to your specific needs.

Lancelin Surf School is owned and run by Ryan and Freya Leat. They fell in love with Lancelin's empty beaches and laid-back lifestyle when they arrived as travellers 7 years ago and decided to make it their permanent home. Ryan is an experienced surf instructor who previously worked in England's South West. When he's not teaching, he can be found riding the waves or fishing for Dhu Fish.

Freya enjoys lazy days at the beach with her family, as well as surfing and snorkelling around Lancelin Island. They have two young daughters who share their love for the beach.
