Leederville Sporting Club has a rich history that began with its formation as the Leederville Bowling and Croquet Club in 1905. The inaugural meeting took place at the Masonic Hall on Cambridge Street, West Leederville, with various bowlers and the Mayor of Perth, Harry Brown, in attendance. Initially, the club had forty members for bowling (men) and twenty-one members for croquet (women). A dedicated committee was established to establish club rules and handle financial matters.
