About
John, the organiser of Leeds Tai Chi Academy, invites the sports community to join their reputable school in Leeds, dedicated to promoting health and harmony through tai chi, chi gong, and meditation. John has structured the classes to cater to beginners and individuals with varying needs and capacities, designed to strengthen and rejuvenate the whole being.
The academy offers a range of classes to suit different preferences and schedules. Indoor sessions are held at several locations, including Stainbeck Hall and Bardsey Village Hall, with drop-in rates from £10 to £12. There is also a one-month all-access pass for £40, providing unlimited access to all indoor classes.
For those who prefer online learning, Leeds Tai Chi Academy offers chi gong workouts on Zoom. These sessions are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with a drop-in rate of £10. A one-month all-access pass for £40 grants access to all online sessions and replays.
Additionally, outdoor tai chi classes are conducted on Saturdays at Meanwood Park, specifically at the basketball court. These classes run regardless of weather conditions, offering participants a chance to practise tai chi outdoors. The drop-in rate for these sessions is £12, with the same one-month all-access pass available for £40.
John ensures the academy maintains accessibility by providing reduced rates and free classes for those facing financial hardship. Payments can be made via bank transfer or in cash.
