Le Lotus-Centre de Yoga in Qubec City was founded in 1978, following the footsteps of the pioneering centre, Centre dpanouissement de ltre LE LOTUS, established in Montreal in 1968 by Swami Shraddhananda. Rooted in the traditions of Yoga and Eastern Wisdom, while integrating humanistic psychology and contemporary holistic thinking, LE LOTUS offers a path to well-being, personal development, and spiritual growth that is modern, accessible, simple, deep, respectful of each individual's pace of evolution, effective, and universally applicable. The centre is dedicated to awakening and expanding self-awareness, a core element of traditional yogic practice.
As an honorary member of the Francophone Yoga Federation, the official French section of the International Yoga Federation, LE LOTUS provides a range of activities for the public, including weekly classes, seminars, intensive workshops, conferences, trainings, and nature retreats. The centre focuses on integral personal and spiritual realization, considering all aspects of the individual to facilitate their full potential. Through direct transmission of self-knowledge keys and meditation techniques, participants are guided on the spiritual yogic path towards self-realization.
