The knowledge and skills they need to become independent surfers. Our coaching programmes are tailored to suit all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced surfers.
Safety is our top priority at Little Frothers. Our founder, Cory Moore, holds a “working with children” blue-card and has undergone extensive training in surf safety and first-aid. With his experience as a volunteer lifeguard, he has a deep understanding of the beaches on the Gold Coast and Northern NSW. We ensure that our students are well-informed about rip currents, surf etiquette, and how to read the ocean and waves to ensure a safe and enjoyable surfing experience.
In addition to teaching essential surfing techniques such as paddling, duck-diving, and body positioning, we also place great importance on surfboard design and equipment knowledge. We believe that every surfer should have a solid understanding of their board and how its elements affect their surfing performance. We teach our students how to fix their boards and choose the right equipment to enhance their surfing abilities.
Surfing is not just a physical activity; it's also a lifestyle and a way to connect with nature. At Little Frothers, we aim to instil in our students a love for the ocean and a respect for its power. We encourage them to embrace their individuality and enjoy the freedom and excitement that surfing brings.
