About
Little Yoga Tree is a yoga instructor in Reading, offering yoga classes for children in Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and Buckinghamshire. Their mission is to strengthen little bodies, hearts, and minds through fun and playful yoga classes, while also laying the foundation for a life of mindfulness and wellbeing.
The team at Little Yoga Tree understands that as parents, everyone wants their children to be happy. However, social and academic pressures can be overwhelming for children. Little Yoga Tree aims to teach children how to deal with these pressures and grow into strong, self-confident individuals who celebrate their individuality. They strive to teach children to accept and be proud of who they are.
As Frederick Douglas said, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.
The yoga classes at Little Yoga Tree benefit children's overall development in various ways. Physically, yoga builds strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness. Emotionally, it builds self-confidence, self-esteem, empathy, compassion, respect, and acceptance. Mentally, yoga improves concentration, focus, calmness, clarity, imagination, and creativity.
Ultimately, Childrens Yoga encourages children to grow into happy, healthy, and contented adults.
Little Yoga Tree has received positive reviews from those they have helped. Teachers, camp leaders, and teaching assistants have all praised the calming and engaging nature of the yoga classes. Kids look forward to returning to yoga and have shown increased participation and engagement in other activities. One teaching assistant noted the positive impact on children's behaviour and their ability to use breathing techniques to calm their minds.
