London Raiders Softball Club

The London Raiders Softball Club is a vibrant and inclusive LGBTQIA+ softball club based in London. With a diverse range of members, from experienced players to new beginners, and teams that span from competitive to recreational, the club offers a welcoming and supportive environment for all.

At the London Raiders, the emphasis is not only on playing softball but also on fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. Members stay in contact throughout the off-season, and the club organises a variety of social events in addition to training and games.

As a club, the London Raiders field teams in the London Softball League at various levels, including B, C (Majors), and D (Minors). They also participate in tournaments both in the UK and abroad, always welcoming and developing new players, regardless of their skill level.

For current players, the club provides essential resources, such as information on membership fees, purchasing kits, and an events calendar. The committee is readily available to answer any questions or concerns.

The London Raiders Softball Club is composed of teams that play in the six divisions of the London Softball League, categorised by experience and skill level. These divisions include Majors 1, Majors 2, Majors 3, Minors 1, Minors 2, and Minors 3.

To become a member, the club offers two levels of membership: Casual and Full. Full membership is required for those who wish to play regularly in a team. However, if uncertain, individuals can start with Casual membership and upgrade to Full later. The club strives to support the community by ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent participation in the club.

Options for consideration are available upon contacting the Treasurer.

Membership fees are vital for the London Raiders Softball Club to cover expenses such as pitch bookings, league fees, insurance policies, coaching sessions, training equipment, and social events. Payment can be made via BACS to the designated club account.

In addition to membership fees, there may be additional payments required for specific events or activities. For example, a 5 fee is due for participating in Pride in London.
