Long Crendon FC

Long Crendon FC, founded in 1886, is one of the most accomplished football clubs in Oxford. They have a storied past, like winning the first-ever Oving Cup, which makes them one of the oldest and most esteemed clubs locally.

The Men's First Team, led by Waheed Ramzan, competes in the Hellenic League Division One, showing skill and dedication on the pitch. Matt Haley manages the Ladies First Team, who play in the Southern Regional WFL Division One North, demonstrating their talent and commitment.

Youth development is a key focus at Long Crendon FC. The Men's Development Team plays in the Oxford Senior League Division One, while the Ladies Development Team competes in the Thames Valley WFL Division Three North. They aim to nurture young talent and provide opportunities to excel.

The club is steered by a committed board, including Chairman Gerald Reilly, Vice Chairman Richard Barrett, Director of Football Tom Folley, and Life President Alistair Banham. Their leadership keeps the club's high standards intact.

For the '23/24 season, the Men's First Team will play home fixtures outside Long Crendon. Weekend games are at the RAW Charging Stadium, while midweek games are at the ASM Stadium. However, there are plans for a new sporting facility in Long Crendon to house all the teams and serve the community.
