Founded in 1910, Longley Park Golf Club in Huddersfield, Yorkshire is a gem. Though it’s one of the shorter courses around, at 5188 yards and a par of 66, it certainly isn't easy – ready to test your skills and keep you on your toes!
Open to both members and non-members, the club also has a fantastic function room for events and celebrations. Leading the charge, Club Captain Mr. I Sutherland, Club Secretary Georgina Wilkinson, and Golf Manager Martin Hellawell keep everything running smoothly. Mustafa Dincer and Louise Turner handle stewardess duties, and Andrew Baimbridge (“Bamber”), Club Welfare Officer, ensures everyone’s safety and well-being.
Players rave about the well-kept and challenging course, highlighting the impeccable greens. Friendly staff and mouth-watering bacon sandwiches add to the experience, making it a top spot for a day out.
Memberships cater to all: full playing, restricted, junior, young adult, intermediate, student, twilight, 9-hole, and social memberships. Green fees vary for adults and juniors, with discounts when you play with a member and special society rates for groups.
