About
The Marlborough Basketball Association (MBA), based in Blenheim, is focused on growing and promoting basketball in the Marlborough region. MBA offers various programmes and competitions for players of all ages and skill levels.
A key highlight is the Winter League, where teams from divisions like Senior Men's A and B Grade, Senior Women's Grade, Mixed Social Grade, College Girls Grade, and College Grade 1 and 2 compete. The league ends with thrilling finals to crown the champions.
MBA also runs representative competitions throughout the year for those looking to play at a higher level. These give players the chance to compete against other talented individuals from Marlborough and beyond.
Coaching and officiating are crucial to MBA. The club offers coaching courses and encourages people to take up coaching and officiating roles, providing resources and support along the way.
For updates and information, MBA has an active Facebook page and a comprehensive website. For any questions or more details, MBA can be contacted via email or phone. The club is proud to offer a positive and inclusive basketball experience and welcomes new members to join and help the sport grow.
