Welcome to Matt Fiddes Haywards Heath, a leading martial arts school in New Zealand. With its roots dating back to 1996, Matt Fiddes Martial Arts is now one of the world's largest and most reputable chains of martial arts schools.
Matt Fiddes, the founder of the MF brand, is a highly esteemed figure in the international martial arts, fitness, and entrepreneurship communities. His passion for martial arts began at a young age when he discovered his talent after experiencing bullying at school. By the age of twelve, he had already earned his Black Belt.
With determination and just 100 in savings, Matt opened the first Matt Fiddes Martial Arts School in Barnstaple, North Devon. Within a short period, the school grew to over 700 members, becoming the largest martial arts school in the UK. Today, there are over 1500 MF schools across the UK/Europe, Ireland, Germany, Holland, Australia, and South Africa.
Matt's expertise extends beyond martial arts as he holds a 7th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and Black Belts in Kickboxing and Kung Fu. His success and unique life skill and educational programmes have attracted celebrity clients, including the late Michael Jackson, for whom Matt served as a personal bodyguard and friend for over a decade.
In addition to martial arts, the Matt Fiddes brand offers “MF Dance,” featuring street dance programmes both locally and worldwide. Collaborations with Boxercise and Kick boxercise have further expanded the MF brand, resulting in the opening of over 2000 new MF locations across 54 countries.
As the Managing Director of the Matt Fiddes Group, Matt oversees the thriving MF franchise brand. The franchise offers fitness, self-defence, and personal safety classes to hundreds of thousands of people globally.
