APSOC Cross Country invites you to lace up your running shoes and take part in the McPhail 8k Race at Yarra Bend Park. This event is a special one, honoring the legacy of Ken McPhail, a key figure in the club's history. The race has a unique 'sealed handicap' format, adding an element of mystery and excitement for all participants. The picturesque course alongside the Yarra River will test your endurance with its challenging hills.
This annual race has been a favorite among runners since it moved to Yarra Bend Park in 2006. The competition is fierce, with top athletes like Adam Pyke and Victoria Mitchell setting impressive course records.
