Welcome to Mixtape Studio! Inspired by the 1980s, our dance school and fitness centre in Thornbury transports you to a time and place of vibrant colour and fun. At Mixtape Studio, dance is exuberant and fitness is fierce.

Mixtape Studio is an all-inclusive space where people can feel free to express themselves, dance, laugh, and let go of their worries. We believe in not taking life too seriously and creating an environment that encourages fun and passion.

We offer casual classes that run for 50 minutes. Whether you're interested in dance fitness or choreography, our open-level classes are suitable for anyone, regardless of dance experience. No prior experience is needed to join our classes, so come and book a casual class today!

In addition to our classes, Mixtape Studio is available for hire. Whether you are looking to host a party, rehearsal, or event, our studio is the perfect space. We offer discount prices for artists and provide more information on studio hire upon request.

For those looking for more intensive training, we offer performance courses that run in blocks of 5 to 6 weeks. During the course, you will learn choreography and have the opportunity to perform at one of our Mixtape showcases. Keep an eye out for our upcoming courses and workshops!

Mixtape Studio is also the perfect venue for hens parties. Let us host your hens party and choose from our many packages. Whether you want to have the party on-site or have us bring the boombox to you, we have options to suit your needs.

What to wear? We encourage people to be themselves and embrace their individuality. Whether you prefer high-cut leotards, bright colours, leg warmers, or full adidas tracksuits, all styles are welcome. As for footwear, jazz shoes, runners, and heels (for heels class) are suitable, but we kindly ask that you avoid open-toe shoes.

Don't forget to bring water, a towel, and your arms, legs, and booty ready to shake!
