MKK Manawatu Kyokushin Karate

Manawatu Kyokushin Karate (MKK) runs Kyokushin karate classes from a fully equipped dojo at 25 Fitzherbert Avenue in Palmerston North. Training suits juniors (8 to 13), seniors (14 plus), and peewees (4 to 7), with a focus on confidence, discipline, fitness and self-defence. Sessions cover warm-ups and stretching, kihon techniques, progression to kata, and kumite from controlled pre-arranged sparring through to more free-form sparring as skills develop.
