Welcome to MuscleTone Gym, your premier fitness centre located in Houghton le Spring. Established in 2006, we are a community gym that offers a friendly and supportive environment for individuals of all fitness levels. Whether you are a shy gym newbie or a seasoned fitness pro, we welcome you to join our community and embark on your fitness journey.
At MuscleTone Gym, we pride ourselves on offering an old school workout experience. Our gym is equipped with 80s style weights that guarantee results. We prioritise strength training and muscle toning, so you won't find rows upon rows of treadmills here. Instead, we provide a variety of machines and free weights to help you improve your strength and achieve your fitness goals.
Our gym is fully inclusive and welcomes individuals of all abilities. We even cater to teenagers, individuals with disabilities, and children. We understand that feeling lonely or isolated can hinder your fitness journey, so we aim to create a supportive and inclusive community where everyone feels welcome and empowered.
When it comes to memberships, we offer a variety of options to suit your needs. Whether you prefer monthly or annual payments, we have a membership plan that fits your budget. Our team of fully qualified personal trainers are available to provide expert guidance and support, ensuring that you make progress and achieve results fast.
Located at the Old YMCA in Herrington Burn, Houghton, our gym is easily accessible to residents in Houghton le Spring, Fencehouses, Sunderland, and Durham. We are open Monday to Friday from 6am to 7:30pm, on Saturdays from 6am to 2pm, and on Sundays from 6am to 12pm.
