My Karate Sydney (Japanese Academy of Martial Arts) is a sports club located in Sydney, Australia. Established in 1977, we are the leading and longest running martial arts academy in the country. With three convenient locations in Revesby, Eastwood, and Westmead, we cater to individuals of all ages, starting from eight years old to over 80 years young.

At My Karate, we offer classes for all fitness levels and ages. Whether you are a beginner or have previous experience in martial arts, we welcome everyone and ensure personalised attention and instruction during our classes. Our team of dedicated instructors are all certified with a minimum Black Belt Level 1 and hold a working with children accreditation. Led by Hide Hirayama, the owner and chief instructor, our instructors have a wealth of experience and qualifications in various martial arts disciplines.

We offer a range of courses, including self-defence, Taikudo Karate, and weapon fighting. Taikudo Karate is a dynamic form of martial arts, and we also specialise in Jukendo, a unique Japanese weapon fighting style. Our courses are designed to not only teach you martial arts techniques, but also inspire you, improve your confidence, enhance your fitness levels, and reduce stress.

- Bankstown/Revesby: 184 The River Rd. Revesby NSW 2212 (at YMCA Revesby). Classes are held on Tuesdays and Fridays.

- Ryde/Eastwood: Rowe St. , Eastwood NSW 2122 (at Eastwood Public School). Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays.

- Parramatta/Westmead: Hawkesbury Rd. Westmead NSW 2145 (at Westmead Public School). Classes are held on Wednesdays and Fridays.
