Myswim Bass Hill is a family-run business that has been operating for the past 22 years, serving the Blacktown, Smithfield, and Bass Hill communities. The owners, Cathy and Chris, have a deep understanding of the importance of water safety, especially for children. The journey of Myswim Bass Hill began in 2000, when Chris Myers Swim School was established at the Blacktown Aquatic Centre. In 2005, the family purchased a swim centre in Smithfield and rebranded as Myswim. They conducted lessons at this location until 2012, when they sold the business. In 2013, they concluded their operations in Blacktown and opened a new swim school in Bass Hill in 2015.

Now, in 2021, they have embarked on a new adventure with the opening of a facility in Revesby.

Chris, with extensive coaching experience since 1980, played a vital role in nurturing great swimmers, including the renowned Ian Thorpe. With such a wealth of experience, Chris brings his expertise and passion for swimming to Myswim Bass Hill, ensuring students receive top-quality instruction.

Cathy, an actively involved member of the swimming industry since 2000, holds full ASCTA Swim Australia/Austswim Accreditation. She is equipped to teach infants, adults, individuals with disabilities or diverse backgrounds, and children at the squad level. Cathy's commitment and passion for the swimming industry are well-known within the community. As a Diamond level member of ASCTA Swim Australia, she consistently seeks to provide every individual with the opportunity to learn how to swim, regardless of age or ability.

Cathy has also presented at several NSW and National ASCTA conferences and holds a Cert IV in Training and Assessment, enabling her to assess and present ASCTA Swim Australia courses.
