About
The New Year's Resolution Run 2025 is set to be an exhilarating event hosted by Kowen Trail Run. Runners can choose between a half-marathon or a 12 km course, both offering stunning views of Canberra and its surroundings. The challenging courses include a mix of forestry trails, single track, and significant elevation gain.
Starting and finishing at the Wamboin Community Hall, runners will tackle a combination of bitumen road and forest trails. Safety is a top priority, with mandatory gear checks required before the race. Participants must ensure they have all necessary items to take part in the event.
Scheduled for Sunday, 19 January 2025, the race day will kick off with registration and gear check, followed by pre-race briefings for both distances. The half-marathon will start first, followed by the 12 km trail run, with presentations to follow after the races.
