Newcastle International Hockey Centre

Newcastle International Hockey Centre, located in Broadmeadow next to McDonald-Jones Stadium, is Newcastle's leading hockey venue and one of Australia's most up-to-date playing fields. With three water-based artificial turf surfaces, this hockey centre offers top-notch facilities for players and spectators alike.

The centre recently completed construction on a new amenities block for the South Field and a new Administration building. Additionally, seating has been installed at all three fields, ensuring a comfortable experience for those who come to watch the games. The Training Field has also been updated with new turf, lights, and sprinklers, providing players with optimal conditions for practise and training.

During the summer months, the centre hosts a summer competition, which is currently in full swing. The draws for the women's, mixed, and Friday night competitions are available for download on their social media and club directories.
