Odakan Karate Club, located in Cork, is a Shotokan Karate-Do school led by Sensei Gary Daly, a 6th dan black belt with over 45 years of experience in the art. Sensei Daly and his team of assistant instructors are dedicated to providing exceptional standards of instruction to students of all levels.
Sensei Daly's impressive background includes being both Junior and Senior National Champion, as well as coaching the Irish Karate Team to success at European and World Karate Championships. Students at Odakan have the opportunity to train alongside champions and grade under the highest ranked Japanese instructors of the Shotokan Karate-Do International Federation twice a year.
As a member of SKIF Ireland, students have the chance to compete at World, European, and National levels. Training sessions are held on Tuesday and Thursday nights, catering to both new members and advanced black belts. The annual membership fee is 50, with each class costing 10.
