Founded in 1871, the Albert Park Yacht Club is the oldest continuing inland yacht club for dinghy class boats in Victoria. Featuring classes on Saturday mornings from 9am to 12 noon, this programme covers two levels: Learn to Sail Level 1 and Learn to Sail Level 2. In Level 1, participants will learn the basics of sailing on the protected waters of Albert Park Lake, guided by experienced instructors who will be in the boat with them. In Level 2, participants will begin their journey towards independent sailing, becoming capable of sailing a small dinghy on their own in moderate winds.
