Since its establishment in 2001, OUTdance has been a leading dance company in Mount Hawthorn, providing a range of social events, weekly classes, and opportunities for couples and singles within the LGBTIQ community to learn and enjoy various dance styles.

The dances offered at OUTdance include Cha Cha, Barn Dance, Disco Madison, Evening Three Step, Jive, Merrilyn, Progressive Jive, Quickstep, Samba, Square Rumba, Slow Rhythm, Tango, and a range of fun line dances. Whether you're a beginner or have some dance experience, there is something for everyone at OUTdance.

The company prides itself on creating a safe, relaxed, and inclusive environment where people can come together, learn, and meet new people. It is a place where individuals can express themselves freely and enjoy the joy of dance.

If you are interested in getting involved with OUTdance, their weekly classes are held every Tuesday from 7:00pm at the Mt Hawthorn Community Hall, located at 197 Scarborough Beach Rd. OUTdance is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation with the aim to support the active well-being of LGBTQIA+ people through dance and movement. They strive to provide social activities that are safe and inclusive, encourage and empower LGBTQIA+ individuals to actively participate within the association and the community, promote and participate in same-sex dance competitions, and support other LGBTQIA+ community organisations whenever possible.
