Welcome to Pacific Elite Dance, a top dance school located in Clayton, Australia. At Pacific Elite, we pride ourselves on inspiring leaders through dance while fostering an encouraging atmosphere for our dancers to create exciting performance experiences together.
Our athletes receive top-notch technical dance training, enabling them to participate in the creation of fun and high-energy All Star competition routines. We believe in instilling discipline, teamwork, and training consistency, with a strong focus on the development of dynamic and unique choreography.
Specialising in All Star competitive Cheer Dance, our dancers perform thrilling and energetic 2-minute routines that showcase their technique, skills, and stage confidence. At Pacific Elite, we offer All Star Pom, Jazz, Lyrical, and Hip Hop classes for dancers of all ages.
In addition to our All Star programmes, we also introduced exam classes in Ballet, Jazz, and Tap (SFD Syllabus) in 2021. These exam classes are designed to help our dancers build a strong foundation for their future competition endeavours.
- All Star Pom: Our Pom routines incorporate strong and precise pom technique, emphasising clean and sharp motions, synchronisation, visual effects, and occasionally incorporating tricks such as leaps, turns, pom passes, jump sequences, and kick lines. It's a visually stunning style that involves level changes, group work, formation changes, and the use of different colour poms.
- Lyrical: A contemporary or lyrical routine at Pacific Elite combines organic, pedestrian, and/or traditional modern or ballet vocabulary to complement the lyrical and rhythmic value of the music. Our emphasis is on control, sustained and expressive movement, body placement, contraction/release, use of breath, uniformity, communication, and technical skills.
- Jazz: Jazz routines at Pacific Elite incorporate stylised dance movements and combinations, formation changes, group work, leaps, and turns. We prioritise proper technical execution, extension, control, body placement, and team uniformity in our Jazz classes.
- Hip Hop: Our Hip Hop routines can incorporate any street style movement, with an emphasis on execution, style, creativity, body isolations and control, rhythm, uniformity, and musical interpretation. We provide a dynamic and engaging environment for dancers to explore their individuality and express themselves through this popular style.
Our coaching staff at Pacific Elite is the heartbeat of our dance family. Led by experienced and inspiring coaches, our team brings passion and expertise to every class, ensuring that our dancers receive the best training possible.
