Perth City Physie North is a vibrant and empowering dance club located in Mindarie, Western Australia. The club is run by a group of enthusiastic and passionate ladies who migrated from the East coast to Western Australia in the past two decades. Coming together through their shared love for Physie, they have formed a strong bond and have experienced personal growth and improved well-being through fitness and laughter. Inspired by their own transformation, they decided to establish their own club to share the joy and empowerment of Physie with the West coast community.
Physie, also known as Physical Culture, is a unique sport designed to increase strength, fitness, flexibility, and confidence. With an innovative choreography that changes annually, Physie incorporates various dance styles such as jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, aerobic dance, and even yoga. It is accompanied by fun and upbeat pop music, creating an enjoyable and dynamic atmosphere.
The benefits of Physie extend beyond physical fitness. It improves coordination, enhances brain development, and boosts confidence. Physie is a synchronised, team-based sport that is both social and fun, providing an excellent low-impact dance and aerobic activity. It caters to girls and women of all ages, from 3 to 60+, making it a sport for life.
At Perth City Physie North, the club offers classes in two locations: Calista in the South and Clarkson in the North. The class times are flexible, accommodating different schedules and age groups. The club has dedicated and experienced teachers who are passionate about teaching and inspiring young girls. They create a supportive and inclusive environment where girls can learn and grow.
