Pioneer Coal Athletics Field

Located in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, Pioneer Coal Athletics Field is an athletic track managed by the Pictou County Recreation & Athletics Society (PCRAS), a non-profit organization comprising dedicated volunteers. Established in 2004 and restructured in 2011, PCRAS aims to maintain a high-quality track and field facility for county residents while fostering a competitive track and field club for youth.

The society is governed by an executive team, board of directors, and various committees focused on programming, maintenance, fundraising, and promotion. Its mission is to promote and support improved health and fitness among Pictou County residents through athletics, encourage participation across all ages and abilities, develop leadership skills, enhance athletic abilities, and acquire resources to achieve its goals.
