Port Elgin Pool

Port Elgin Pool, also known as Centennial Pool, is a popular public swimming facility located at 780 Gustavus Street in Port Elgin, adjacent to Saugeen District Senior School. The pool offers a range of programs and activities for residents and visitors of all ages to enjoy.

Registration for the spring and summer aquatic programs at Port Elgin Pool opens on March 6, with both online and in-person options available. The program schedule can be viewed online or downloaded for easy access. Visitors can also participate in free Fun Swims thanks to generous community sponsors, which run from 1 to 2 pm. Additionally, March Break Fun Swims are offered for only $2 per person, with a maximum fee of $12 per family.

The pool's drop-in schedules include a March Break schedule from March 9 to 17, as well as a winter schedule running from January 8 to March 28. PA Day Swims are also available for free, with the pool admission policy applying to all swims. Swimming lessons, aquatic fitness classes, and memberships are offered for those looking to improve their skills and stay active in the water.

Port Elgin Pool also hosts programs such as Lifesaving Sport fundamental training, advanced aquatics courses, Mini-Breakers youth programs, and Master's Swim Team for adults interested in competitive swimming.
