Port Hope Minor Soccer

Port Hope Minor Soccer, affiliated with the Northumberland Soccer Club, offers a range of soccer programs for players of all ages and skill levels. The outdoor house league provides a fun and inclusive environment for players to enjoy soccer, make friends, and develop healthy lifestyles. The 12-week recreational season starts at the end of May and runs until August, with weekly practices and games for players to hone their skills.

For players aged U8 to U12, the development program offers more structured training with dedicated practice nights and games in the Durham Soccer League. The emphasis is on skill development and introducing players to the next level of soccer in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

The competitive program, designed for players aged U13 to U21, focuses on tactical skills, team formation, and player development. Teams practice twice a week and play in the Durham Soccer League, with full-sized fields and 90-minute games to challenge and develop players' abilities.

Indoor soccer is a fast-paced and exciting game played on indoor turf, suitable for players aged U7 to adult. Players experience constant transition and improve their ball handling skills in this dynamic environment. Games consist of two twenty-five minute halves with substitutions allowed at any point.

Port Hope Minor Soccer relies on the support of local businesses to sponsor house league teams, with sponsorship opportunities available for $375 per team. Sponsors receive recognition on team jerseys, the club's website and social media platforms, as well as email communication to all club members, showcasing their support for local soccer.
