Puddle Ducks Cherwell & Aylesbury Vale is an esteemed swimming school located in Bicester, New Zealand. With a passion for teaching swimming to babies, pre-schoolers, and children, Puddle Ducks offers a range of classes to cater to different age groups and abilities.
The Baby & Pre-school programme is designed for infants and toddlers up to 4 years old. This programme focuses on creating a bonding experience between parents and their little ones while instilling water-confidence and a love for swimming. The expert teachers at Puddle Ducks tailor activities to suit each child's abilities and needs. With a maximum of ten children in each class, the lessons are taught in lovely, warm pools.
Incorporating rhyme, music, and movement based on extensive child development research, Puddle Ducks is proud to be the only national baby swim school that is 100% child-led. This approach has produced great results, with many children swimming over 10m before starting school.
For school-aged children from 4 to 10 years old, Puddle Ducks offers the Swim Academy programme. This programme focuses not only on teaching children to swim beautifully and efficiently but also on developing essential water safety and lifesaving skills. With close-knit class sizes, all children receive the right level of support to suit their age. The classes are designed to be fun, lively, varied, and exciting to keep children engaged and challenged in the water.
The team at Puddle Ducks Cherwell & Aylesbury Vale is made up of dedicated and experienced individuals. Emma, the franchise owner, is also a Baby & Pre-school and Swim Academy teacher. Hannah, the Head of Teaching, teaches Baby and Pre-school, Swim Academy, and Elite Swim Academy classes. Rhyannon is a Baby & Pre-school and Swim Academy teacher, as well as the marketing assistant.
Adrianne works in the office and also teaches Swim Academy classes. Laura is a poolside assistant at The Wendover Pool and teaches Baby and Pre-school classes. Roxy, Janine, Lara, April, and Kelly are also Baby and Pre-school or Swim Academy teachers on the Puddle Ducks team.
