Meet your instructor at Ngarunui Beach Carpark, just a short drive from Raglan township. From there, you'll get straight into the water, where the instructor will guide you through paddling techniques, wave selection, and positioning. The goal is to catch the best waves and challenge yourself, all with expert guidance.

Chris emphasises that Raglan Surf School has been perfecting its teaching methods since 1999. The team is passionate about surfing and takes great joy in seeing students succeed – there's nothing quite like the thrill of catching your first wave.

Beyond private lessons, Chris also wants to remind everyone that there are group lessons, family lessons, board and wetsuit rentals, surf packages, and school camps available. Regardless of your experience level, there's something for everyone.
