During the game, players are expected to display good sportsmanship and adhere to the rules of fair play. Respectful behaviour towards teammates, opponents, coaches, umpires, and spectators is essential. Any form of abuse, discrimination, or swearing will not be tolerated. Railways Football Club has a zero-tolerance policy towards such behaviour.
All players must be registered and have paid their membership fees before the first game in April. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility to play. The club provides an opportunity for all players to develop their skills and improve their game. Coaches and experienced players are available to offer guidance and support.
Additionally, a roster for canteen and water duties will be provided, and it is the responsibility of each player and their family to fulfil their assigned duties. Failure to do so may result in a player not being able to play the following game or starting on the bench.
Railways Football Club is committed to the safety and well-being of its players, especially children. The club has implemented child safety measures to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all. Any concerns or allegations related to safety will be taken seriously and dealt with consistently.
Proper training is crucial for player development and performance. Players are required to bring their own training gear, including a footy bag, footy boots, mouthguard, training shirt, and towel. School uniforms are not allowed for training. It is important to arrive at training 15 minutes prior to the starting time to allow for warm-up and preparation.
In case of absence from training, players are required to communicate with their coach or team manager to avoid letting down their teammates.
Game days are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional midweek catch-up games played under floodlights. It is essential to be aware of the game time and location for each round.
