Welcome to the Redland Bay Walking Group, a popular sports club located in Redland City. The group offers a variety of walks in and around the beautiful bayside area, often taking participants on shady paths along the waterfront. They also occasionally explore the streets of Redland City.
The Redland Bay Walking Group is led by dedicated Walk Organiser Stephen, who ensures that each walk is enjoyable and well-organised. With a current membership of 45 individuals, participants can expect a friendly and supportive atmosphere throughout their walking experience.
The group meets three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, starting at 7:30 am. Please note that the meeting time may vary depending on the season. From January to May, the group meets at 7 am, from June to August at 7:30 am, and from September to December at 7 am. The walks typically last between 30 to 45 minutes, providing a perfect opportunity to get some exercise and enjoy the scenic surroundings.
The Redland Bay Walking Group is suitable for individuals who can maintain a medium pace during the walks. While the group does not allow dogs to join, they welcome individuals of all fitness levels who can walk without the assistance of prams or wheelchairs.
