Founded by Phiroj Sayyad, a Yondan (4th degree Black Belt) with over four decades of martial arts expertise, Ren KickBoxing MMA & SelfDefence Academy stands as a beacon of excellence in martial arts training. Recognized for his participation in the International Karate Championship in Japan and awarded by the founder of the Karate Do Federation, Japan, Phiroj’s passion for martial arts is reflected in the academy's diverse range of programs.
The academy welcomes all fitness enthusiasts, regardless of age or experience. Offering specialized training for kids starting at age 6, the Kids Karate Group focuses on building foundational skills through various kicks, punches, and Katas. Adults can experience a comprehensive regimen that includes warm-ups and advanced techniques in kicks, punches, blocks, and Katas. For those interested in more advanced weapon training, the academy provides instruction in handling knives, sticks, Tonfa, Sai, and Nun-Chucks.
Intriguingly, the academy also offers Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) training, which blends elements from different martial arts disciplines, and CrossFit & Functional Training. These programs feature weight training with unconventional equipment like tyres, ropes, and hammers, ensuring a full-body workout that includes push-ups, stretching, crunches, and burpees, designed to enhance overall fitness, strength, and agility.
