With a foundation degree in Professional Golf Studies from the University of Birmingham, Rhys is deeply passionate about teaching the sport of golf and helping individuals improve their game.

While working at The Grove in London, a world-renowned golf course, Rhys honed his coaching and custom golf club fitting expertise, earning accreditation as a master fitter. Additionally, he has returned to the famous Celtic Manor Resort, the “Home of Welsh Golf” and host of the 2010 Ryder Cup, to continue refining his elite coaching skills among some of Wales' finest golfing talent.
Rhys believes in getting the best out of golfers by helping them understand how their current limitations affect their golf swing and finding ways to work through or around them. Effective communication is at the core of his coaching approach, ensuring that any changes made to a golfer's swing are thoroughly explained and understood. With Rhys's guidance, golfers can improve their game while also enjoying the learning process.
Revans Golf offers a range of golf coaching services. One-to-one coaching sessions of 1 hour or 30 minutes are available, with the use of a Trackman launch monitor to analyse and enhance performance. Golfers will also receive an analysed video from the Skillest coaching app via email for further review and practise. Lesson packages are available to provide continuous support and improvement.
Additionally, remote golf lessons are offered through the Skillest app, allowing golfers to record videos of the specific areas they would like to improve. They will receive swing comparisons and drills to enhance their game.
