Hong Hi, the founder of Taekwondo, who subsequently became Grandmaster Kims mentor and lifelong friend. Under General Chois guidance and support, Grandmaster Kim founded the American Taekwondo Association in 1969.

Rivas-JH Kim Taekwondo School was established in 1989 by Grandmaster Jae Hun Kim in Singapore. With a vision to share the benefits of Taekwondo and martial arts with the community, the school has since grown to multiple locations across the island.
