Robson Square Ice Rink

Paralympic medal ceremonies. Since then, the Robson Square Ice Rink has become a popular winter destination in Vancouver.

The ice rink is open from December 1, 2023, to February 29, 2024, allowing visitors to enjoy winter with some outdoor skating fun. Skate rentals are available for $5. 00, with the option to rent ice cleats for $2. 00 or sharpen skates for $5.

00. Helmets are free of charge with skate rental, and are strongly recommended for safety, especially for children 12 years and under.

Operating hours are from (am) to (pm) on most days, with special holiday hours during Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day. The Robson Square Ice Rink may need to close unexpectedly due to warm weather, so visitors are advised to cheque for updates on the ice rink hotline.

In addition to regular skating sessions, the ice rink also hosts theme nights every Wednesday from January 14 to February 21, 2024. Participants dressed according to the weekly theme will be eligible for a complimentary hot chocolate, creating a fun and festive atmosphere for all ages.
