What is Rugbytots?

Rugbytots is a rugby based play program for 2-7 year old boys and girls. Classes run weekly, all year round, during the school terms.

Rugbytots Mackay Region was established in 2016. Miss Krystal has coached hundreds of children over the years and loves seeing the children learn and grow from week to week. She says "Rugbytots is not just about learning the basic skills of rugby, such as passing, catching and kicking. It is about so much more!"

Our fun, structured play sessions take children on a journey of sporting imagination with engaging and energetic coaches supporting them every step of the way whilst teaching how to catch, pass, kick, run with the ball and play as part of a team.

A few of the benefits of our classes are psychological skills like enabling positive emotions, working as part of a team and boosting self confidence. Then there are the physical skills like hand eye coordination, balance and listening to then following instructions, just to name a few. These all play an important part in children's development.
