Matted academy in Woodmancote, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, where we offer classes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) for adults.

At Rune Martial Arts, our priority is to create a safe and friendly environment for individuals to learn and excel in their martial arts journey. Our fully equipped academy is designed to cater to the needs of our members, providing them with the tools necessary to develop effective self-defence skills, improve their fitness levels, and boost their self-confidence.

Under the guidance of our experienced coaches, including Tony Terranova, Neto Nunes, Jak Benfield, Chris Davies, and Freddie Pope, students can expect structured classes and open mat sessions that cater to individuals of all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, our training format ensures that you stay motivated and engaged throughout your martial arts journey.

As a community-based establishment, we prioritise creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all our members. Our academy promotes a spirit of camaraderie and teamwork, with no room for egos or politics. We are proud to be a non-profit organisation co-owned by several of our dedicated members, further emphasising our commitment to the community.

In addition to our regular classes, we also offer corporate and small group training options, as well as individual private tuition for those seeking personalised instruction. While we continue to work on refurbishing our new premises, we have limited space availability.
