Sal's Surf School is a surf school located in Umina Beach on the Central Coast of Australia. Sal, the owner, operator, and head coach of the surf school, is a lifelong resident of the area and has a deep knowledge of the local beaches and community.
Sal is not only an experienced surfer but also a full-time PE & Health teacher, which has allowed her to personally develop surf programmes that are tailored to the learning needs of her clients. Her expertise in pedagogy within the surfing environment greatly contributes to the success of her clients in the water.
The main aim of Sal's Surf School is to encourage lifelong physical activity among locals and help clients develop a sense of belonging within the Umina Beach community.
