Samanthas School of Dance

Samantha’s School of Dance (SSD), established by Samantha, is a cornerstone of the Wakefield, West Yorkshire community, offering a wide array of dance classes since 2006. As a proud member of the IDTA & Acrobatic Arts Certified Studio, SSD provides seven days of dynamic dance education from its award-winning studio.

SSD’s inclusive approach ensures there's a class for every age group. For the youngest dancers aged 3 and below, accompanied by parents, SSD offers engaging sessions that combine musical instruments, singing, movement, balancing, and sensory activities. These sessions create an unmissable bonding experience for both children and parents.

Children aged 3-6 can dive into drop-off mini classes that introduce a variety of dance styles, including ballet, tap, pop, acrobatics, cheerleading, and Disney-inspired routines. These classes are a fantastic way to introduce young dancers to the joy of dance.

For dancers aged 7-9, SSD’s junior classes provide foundational training in various styles such as ballet, tap, pop, acrobatics, cheerleading, and lyrical. These sessions are designed to cultivate both technique and creative expression.

The inter classes, catering to those aged 10-13, focus on enhancing technical skills in ballet, tap, freestyle, acrobatics, cheerleading, and lyrical dance. Samantha ensures these classes foster teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence among young dancers.

Senior classes for dancers aged 13 and above delve deeper into ballet, tap, freestyle, acrobatics, and contemporary dance, allowing young adults to refine their skills and pursue their passion for dance.

SSD also caters to adults aged 14 and above with mixed-ability sessions that include freestyle, ballet, and tap. These classes attract participants aiming to stay active, improve fitness, and enjoy social interaction, all within a supportive and enjoyable environment.
