Satori Ju Jitsu Llanelli is a reputable martial arts club located in Llanelli, Wales. The club is run by a team of experienced and dedicated coaches, led by Sensei Chris Thyer, a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Japanese Ju Jitsu and a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. In addition to his expertise in martial arts, Chris is a level 2 gym instructor and a level 3 personal trainer. Assisting him is Kathryn Thyer, an orange belt and a level 2 & 3 personal trainer who manages the gym, organises events, and coordinates gradings.
The coaching team at Satori Ju Jitsu also includes Rhys Hulbert, a throwing coach and adult assistant instructor; Mike Thomas, a head junior instructor with a Black Belt in Japanese Ju Jitsu and a Blue Belt in Jiu Jitsu; Maggie Thyer, a head Lil Monkeys instructor who holds a Black Belt in Ju Jitsu and a Blue Belt in BJJ; Nate Cheetham, a junior coach with a Black Belt in Japanese Ju Jitsu and a Blue Belt in Jiu Jitsu; Megan Thyer, a mini coach; Teigan Taylor, a Lil Monkeys assistant coach; and Kian Mullins, a striking coach.
The club offers a range of services to cater to the diverse needs and preferences of its members. These services include kids' Ju Jitsu classes, adult classes, ladies-only classes, and specialised programmes such as the Lil Monkeys Ju Jitsu programme for ages 3 to 4.
