Saxon Fencing Club, led by a passionate team in Acton, London, invites you to dive into the world of fencing. Oliver Mitchell, the head of the club, ensures everyone from total beginners to seasoned fencers finds their place here.
Every Thursday, the Twyford Sports Centre transforms into a hub of fencing activity from 7 pm to 10 pm. Adult beginners, don’t miss the dedicated class from 8:15 pm to 9:15 pm, running in five to six-week cycles to get you started. Junior fencers, aged 8 to 14, can join their peers at 6 pm or step up to the improvers' class at 7 pm.
Convenience is key at Saxon Fencing Club, with full facilities and on-site parking available. Membership is straightforward, with annual fees at £400 for adults and £250 for those under 18, due each September. There are flexible options for students as well, with term-only memberships. Visitors are always welcome, with a small fee of £10 for adults and £7 for under 18s.
