Seton YMCA

Seton YMCA is a state-of-the-art fitness facility located in Calgary, Alberta. The gym is conveniently situated near the South Health Campus and offers a range of amenities for hospital employees and the public alike.

The Fitness Centre at Seton YMCA is open 24/7 and features a wide variety of strength and conditioning equipment, free weights, cardio machines, and an indoor running track. The centre also offers electricize, a high-energy workout program designed to get your heart rate up and burn calories. Please note that there are no fitness classes at this location, and the centre is typically unstaffed.

One of the highlights of Seton YMCA is the publicly accessible climbing wall. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced climber, the climbing wall offers a fun and challenging workout for individuals of all fitness levels. Registration for Open Climb opens every Friday at noon through the online registration portal.

Membership at Seton YMCA is available for AHS staff who work at the South Health Campus. For just $30/month, members have 24/7 access to the gym facility. Current YMCA members who are employees of South Health Campus can access the Seton YMCA facility at no additional charge.

In addition to the Fitness Centre and Climbing Wall, Seton YMCA offers amenities such as strength and cardio equipment, an indoor track, indoor climbing wall, locker rooms, and towel service. Note that there are no day passes or punch cards available for access to the gym. Please visit the facility to purchase a monthly membership or inquire about reduced rates for AHS staff.

If you have any questions about the gym's facilities, memberships, or programs, YMCA fitness staff are available Monday-Friday from 11 a. m. to 2 p. m.

and 4 p. m. to 7 p. m.

They can provide you with information, answer any questions you may have, and even offer an orientation to the fitness centre.
