Singapore School of Samba

Singapore School of Samba (SSS) is Singapore's premier Samba school, dedicated to bringing the vibrant spirit of Brazil to the Lion City. Established in January 2017, SSS is the only full-fledged Samba school in Singapore, complete with its own Samba Batucada band and a comprehensive range of Samba classes. Co-founded by Nor Dee Dee and Farah, who have been teaching Brazilian Samba for over 5 years, SSS is affiliated with Saudao Capoeira Singapore and Ishtar Bee Entertainment and Productions.

At SSS, students can immerse themselves in the rich culture of Brazil through a variety of classes, including Samba levels 1/2/3 and Brazilian Body Conditioning. The school also hosts the annual Brazilian festival "Ritmo do Brasil" and features its very own Samba Queen, Farah Dawood. With a focus on providing authentic Brazilian entertainment, SSS offers captivating shows featuring Capoeira, Samba Batucada, Maculel, and Forr, ensuring that audiences are swept up in the energy and passion of the Rio Carnival.

In addition to classes and performances, SSS offers a range of membership packages to suit every student's needs. New members are required to pay a one-time registration fee of $50, which includes a stylish Samba tank top. The Standard Package allows students to participate in Samba classes at their designated level, while the Unlimited Package offers access to all classes, including Brazilian Body Conditioning and Samba Fundamentals. For those visiting or interested in trying out a single class, SSS also offers a drop-in option.
