SOLiD MEN is an association of Christian brothers dedicated to embarking on a transformative journey with Jesus. They emphasise the importance of being closely connected to one another, just like the particles in a solid material with no gaps. Through a WhatsApp chat group or a private Facebook page, members conduct a weekly check-in on Tuesdays. The check-in involves scoring themselves out of 5 in three key areas: mindset, exercise, and nutrition.
The program also incorporates several maxims such as “1st ministry,” “eyes up,” and “78,” which become familiar over time. They promote the question “What's your WHY?” to remind individuals of their goals and purpose during times of trial and doubt. SOLiD MEN encourages setting goals in areas such as mindset, exercise, and nutrition, as they believe physical fitness and training can mirror a disciplined, holistic life with the Lord.
Leadership and legacy are vital core values of SOLiD MEN. They believe that striving towards and achieving SOLiD goals helps individuals become better leaders and leave a God-honoring legacy for their families and friends.
SOLiD MEN is governed by a dedicated board that includes President Lance Rogers, Vice President Nik Fe'ao, Secretary Stephen Refalo, and Treasurer Peter Bondarenko. Additional board members include Jason Marshall, Jarryd Houston, and Luke Mason.
SOLiD MEN aims to connect men to the uncomfortable and courageous life of following Jesus. They embody values like courage over comfort, fall 7 and rise 8, and the vision of connecting men to an extraordinary life with the Lord.
