SOUNDSTAGE is a renowned professional music and performing arts school located at 140 Hardy Street, Crisp Lane, Nelson. With a wide range of classes and individual tuition, we cater to people of all ages and abilities in the fields of singing, dancing, acting, and music. While we specialise in classes for children and young adults, we also see many adults who are eager to learn something new or further develop their existing skills.
At SOUNDSTAGE, we believe in the transformative power of music and performing arts education. Our classes and programmes cater to students as young as 2 years old, and we offer options for all ages and skill levels. Whether you prefer casual classes or a more serious study approach, we have options to suit your needs. We also offer exam pathways through well-recognised examination bodies such as Trinity Guildhall of London and The New Zealand Association of Modern Dance.
For those aspiring to pursue a career in music and performing arts, SOUNDSTAGE equips you with the tools, experience, and internationally recognised qualifications to achieve your dreams. Many of our graduates have gone on to work in music, film, television, and theatre industry globally. With our experience, knowledge, and contacts, we are well-equipped to assist students with auditions to drama and music schools in New Zealand and Australia, as well as professional auditions and casting calls.
