South Whiteshell Women's Sailing League

South Whiteshell Women's Sailing League is dedicated to promoting the environmentally friendly sport of recreational sailing to women of all ages in the Falcon Beach area. Our vision is to establish a Women's Sailing League in the South Whiteshell Provincial Park where mothers, daughters, and granddaughters can sail together on our beautiful lakes. We believe in creating opportunities for cis women, trans women, and non-binary individuals to engage in the lifelong summer activity of sailing at every level of skill development.

Located on the stunning lakes of the south Whiteshell, our sailing school aims to bring people together with a variety of abilities in a collaborative and social environment to foster a shared love of sailing. Our summer programs include Women's Learn to Sail levels 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as Learn to Race sessions for those looking to further develop their sailing skills and learn the rules of sailboat racing. We also host special events such as the She's the Captain Event and Open Learn to Race Sessions to provide additional opportunities for sailors to practice and socialize.

Our Women's Learn to Sail Level 1 program offers two full days of beginner sailing lessons at West Hawk Lake Sailing Centre, while our Level 2 & 3 and Level 3 & 4 programs provide five days of sailing lessons at Falcon Sailing Club to build upon those skills. The cost for each program varies, with optional follow-up participation in the Learn to Race sessions for those looking to take their skills to the next level.
