St. Anne's Astro Pitch

St. Anne's Astro Pitch, located in Dublin 5, is a state-of-the-art facility that offers a top-notch playing surface for soccer enthusiasts. This All-Weather Floodlit Pitch was officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Dublin City Council on Thursday, May 25th, 2017. Situated within St.

Anne's Park, next to the Tennis Courts in Raheny, this facility is operated and maintained by Raheny Sports Alliance Ltd on a not-for-profit basis.

The primary purpose of St. Anne's Astro Pitch is to provide winter and seasonal training facilities for teams from Raheny GAA and Raheny United. This facility is a valuable asset to both clubs and the wider community of Raheny. Club mentors from Raheny GAA and Raheny United can make bookings through their respective pitch co-ordinators.

In addition to servicing the needs of the local clubs, St. Anne's Astro Pitch is also available for hire to insured sporting and community groups. The facility can be used by local schools for sporting activities during and immediately after school hours. The pitch is equipped with floodlights that automatically turn off in the evening during the winter months.

Rental fees are charged on an hourly basis and go towards maintaining the facility in accordance with Dublin City Council guidelines.

Parking is available in the Dublin City Council car park adjacent to the St. Anne's tennis courts and pitch. Those interested in booking the Astro Pitch must adhere to Safety Signage and comply with COVID-19 guidelines set by government and sports bodies. Only players and mentors are allowed on the Astro Turf, with team mentors responsible for making bookings through their club's Pitch Co-Ordinator.
